How to choose LED Power Supply We can identify the quality and choose LED power supply from the following aspects
1、 PFC (power factor correction)
However, not necessarily high PFC is good, but also small overall oblique wave, small ripple and low interference (because some manufacturers deliberately make PFC very high but ignore the part of electromagnetic compatibility).
2、 Conversion efficiency
The level of conversion efficiency, the size and stability of deviation value. For example, in the working voltage range of AC170-250V, I can try to debug from 170V-250V. With the changing voltage from low to high, I can see whether the fluctuation of "conversion efficiency, PFC" is large on the power meter to prove its stability.
3、 Check whether the temperature rise of the power supply is high.
For example, the higher the temperature of the power supply itself, the greater the damage to the components.
4、 Periodic aging test
The lamp with continuous power is aging. The attenuation of the lamp bead and the heat dissipation of the lamp shell can also be detected after continuous power for about a month.
5、 Detect the impulse current to the lamp bead at the moment of startup.
6、 Detect the stability of constant current.
7、 Detect the protection function of the power supply: whether it has over-temperature protection, over-voltage protection, over-current protection and short-circuit protection.
8、Input high voltage: whether the input to output can withstand voltage above 3000V. Whether the input can withstand voltage of 1500V to the ground.
